We cant chase them down, but even when we do get a plate number, were usually told, if an officer didnt see it, theres nothing we can do I cant tell you how many times Ive had people tell me about incidents which should have involved police intervention but didnt because cyclists didnt even bother to call them. Thats understandable. Most of us do feel abandoned by the system.' http://commuteorlando.com/wordpress/2010/08/09/bullying-how-do-we-stop-it/ Funny, I gave this answer today: On Aug 10, 12:05 pm, LL <llp...(a)aol.com> wrote: > On Aug 9, 7:46 pm, JB <briscoe.jea...(a)gmail.com> wrote: > > Does love conquer all? A bull can be tamed by castration. ;) *** In other words, metaphorically speaking, we should take the balls off the bull to tame him, which translates into "we should go and prosecute the bullies based on evidence from cyclists and pedestrians." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- THE WISE TIBETAN MONKEY SAYS "We should set up a system of reward and punishment with the beasts" http://webspawner.com/users/BIKEFORPEACE

That's right, punishment for bad behavior is OK in the jungle. You know, I've thought about it, what's terribly wrong is that we reward those beasts who kill in war beyond duty or politicians who do a crime and get away with light sentences only to go back to their riches. Sexual predators are really treated like beasts, but others who drive SUVs and push around cyclists get away with good reputation. I have several animals and I do NOT reward bad behavior.

I think so too. Notice they annoy you when they blow the horn at you for no good reason.
