From: Jason James on 30 Jul 2010 02:24 Often thought who gets the rip-off when the item is sold at retail prices,...must just be the reseller. How does this effect their bottom line? I mean how much stuff is sold "trade"? Does the supplier get a cut of the "retail? I bought a roof-mounted evap AC drum drive belt. It was 1 1/2 m long and I thought was going to cost a motsa,..she sold it to me trade for $11 :-) Always handy to have someone in the game... Jason

As a contract cleaner I can buy almost anything to do with cleaning for about half of what most people pay retail. I pay $269 for a new back pack vacuum cleaner but the RRP is over $500, the suppliers look after you because they know that if they do you will keep coming back. Soon I'll be buying 2 compact battery floor scrubbers which are about $3200.00 each and if my main supplier didn't look after me I'd buy them somewhere else. Daryl
